Wow, what an incredible few months it’s been and we’re thrilled that your school joined us to help make a huge difference to the lives of people affected by cancer, so this edition is all about celebrating Coffee Morning 2018! We’re super egg-cited to update you on our incredible total so far, share Kate’s own Macmillan experience with you, and, with the cold winter months ahead, we’ve even popped in a warming winter recipe for you too. Mmm!

Your school have helped us raise an incredible (drum roll please) £21,672,817 so far, and the dough-nations just keep on crumbing! All those cuppas, cakes, crisps and everything in-between have totted up to something seriously special, and for this, we can’t thank you enough. With your generosity, Macmillan can provide the support, tools and inspiration needed to help people with cancer find their best way through.
If you still need to pay in your dough-nations, that’s fine! It won’t take a minute to whisk them off. Visit this page to find out how.

Your coffee and cake is worth more than you think because by simply getting together for a sip, a slurp and a slice of something nice, you’re making such a huge difference to people affected by cancer. We’re here to help from the moment of diagnosis and whenever we’re most needed, and every penny that comes to Macmillan helps people with cancer to live life as fully as they can.
After Kate received the devastating news that she had cervical cancer, she was put in touch with a Macmillan nurse, who supported her every step of the way. £28 helps to fund a Macmillan nurse for an hour, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support, and by hosting a Coffee Morning you have contributed to this, we’re bowled over! Hundreds and thousands of thank you’s for taking part, we couldn’t do it without your school.
